Marquese Anglin, 30, was arrested after refusing to pull over for Fairview police officer Shane Dunning, who tried to stop Anglin for a license plate violation on Interstate 40.
Dunning pursued Anglin's vehicle and during the chase, Dunning says Anglin appeared to be trying to throw something out his passenger side window.
The window, however, wasn't open.
"He was throwing the marijuana out what he thought was the open window but the window was actually closed," Dunning recalled.
Eventually Anglin stopped and Dunning found him and the inside of his car covered in pot.
"I actually told him that next time he might want to roll the window down because it was all over the car," Dunning continued, adding, "It was almost comical to actually see this."
Officers were able to recover about an ounce of marijuana from the vehicle.
Anglin was charged with drug possession, driving on a revoked license and failure to yield to blue lights.
