RAPPER RICK ROSS SUES GROUP LMFAO

New Year, new lawsuit for Rick Ross, however he is on the other side of the gavel as he is taking LMFAO to court for copyright infringement. Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson of producer group The Runners is joining Ross in suing the group.

“It’s garbage. It’s highway robbery,” said Kid Rock. “I don’t care who you are. I would consider both of them in the circle of friends in the business, but I don’t agree with it.”
Kid Rock also revealed that he worked closely with Live Nation to cut the costs for fans and was even willing to take a pay cut to ensure that fans were treated to $20 concert tickets and $4 12 oz. beers among other perks. According to the Detroit artist, the pay cut could possibly cost him around $50,000 to $100,000 per night.
“It’s gotten out of hand. The price of concerts, the price of entertainment period. Whether it’s a sporting event, going to the movies, buy a soda there, whatever…I’ve always tried to keep prices [to] what I think are fair. And I’ve always said I’m proud that I can walk around with my head held high and look someone in the eye knowing that I haven’t taken an unhonest dollar from a working man. But how can we make it better,” Kid Rock questioned

MEET ‘UNLUCKY’ ZAMBIAN DIVA MAMPI

ZAMBIA – Losing a longtime lover when on the verge of tying a knot, evicted from the Big Brother House and failing to win an award after being nominated in over three categories is what Mampi experienced last year.

MAMPI

Zamtel Entertainment caught up with the diva on her recent private and public life happenings. Mirriam Mukape, 27, is one of the most happening female artists in Zambia but her works were not honoured in any way in 2012.
Mampi missed out on the ZNBC Music Video awards and Ngoma awards, the matter which has troubled her. “Walilowelela was one of the most played songs in 2012 and for me not to win any award is like my works are not appreciated or maybe someone is against me,” said Mampi.
Mampi was also unlucky as she was beaten by her nemesis Kay in the Best Female video at the ZNBC Music video awards.
Missing out on awards is not the only bad thing that happened to the diva in 2012 as she had her engagement to footballer Dominic Yobe called off, for reasons that she has kept close to her heart.

Danny to take break after 10th album

MUSICIAN Danny ‘Kaya’ has hinted on taking a break after releasing 10 albums as he prepares to release his ninth studio collection by August this year.
Danny Siulapwa who is regarded as one of the best music artists in Zambia told Times Entertainment that he plans to take a break from releasing albums on one or two years intervals after reaching the decade mark.
“I have been doing this thing (singing) for more than ten years now and after releasing my tenth album, I will take a break and just be releasing singles,” the dreadlocked live performer said in the comfort of his studio chair at Mad House studios located at the Lusaka Play House.
The Yakumbuyo star added, “It’s not that I will stop completely, I will just relax and take a back seat and concentrate on grooming new artistes and dropping singles but if need arises the album will surely come.”
Last week on Friday residents of Makeni, Chawama and the surrounding areas were treated to some rare live music in town when Danny performed at South Point Pub.
The More Fire Band had one of the simplest task to do when they took to the stage as the audience was already mesmerised by the sight of Danny, Naso, Titus and the band.
All that Danny had to do was to churn out the already known tracks.
The show that defied the odds of Zambian shows starting after midnight, started around 22:00 hours and with such hits as Yakumbuyo, Joni, As Long As, 90 minutes and Kaya, the night was worth it and so was the wee hours of Saturday.
Zambia might be experiencing bad days when it comes to live bands performances but the nation can be assured that Danny is one of the remaining greats that will surely live his mark wherever he performs. Times of ZambiaDanny ‘Kaya

WIZKID IS STILL IN EME - BANKY W CLEARS RUMOURS

In a recent interview with City people, see what Banky W said below:

When you released your recent album there was something a lot of people noticed?

Let me tell you that Wizkid wasn't on the album, first of all, i want to say what we like to call 'Bad belle people' because they think there may be  bad news and when you don't give them that news they start to create it because i guess bad news sells more than good news.

So i want to say categorically that there was no twitter fight. people go-online and use Photoshop to create my profile and say that i said this and they go and create wizkid's profile and they go and say that he said that. We are working on Wizzy's project to make  it work, cause when you go international things change.

So he is still signed to EME?

Absolutely he is still signed to EME.

Because the general belief is that he started his own thing ''star boy entertainment?''

Well you know that is something else he wants to do. he wants to start to his own record label and i mean i started my own label and look at where i am today. you have a lot of people fabricating stuff and making it look as if there is a battle and you know we do not belive in that.

We are all mature. we are all grown up people and we are all happy for one another. He is starting his label and we are in support of that, he is going international and working with Disturbing london and we are in support of that.

There is no beef, Wiz is part of the family legally, he is still signed even aside from contract some things are bigger than contract and money. EME and Wiz will continue.

She wonder whther that porno video she now describes as ‘stupid’ has actually made her a celebrity. This post received a lot of reactions from her friends.
“@Iris forget about that and move on. At one point everyone has erred but its you to pick the broken pieces and move on. A mistake is not one if it is repeated. Let the sleeping dogs lie for good.” responded Chisenga Magomero.
Lewis Kapesa said: “My dear a new beginning is always important, what we do always give us direction and you are no exceptional.”

While Davies Libingi says, “It pulled you name down not a celebrity, hope you have stopped.”
Tulu Chisakula reacts: “You did not do anything wrong, we all have sex, in Zambia a Christian nation no one waits until they get married for them to have sex, in Zambia kids are having sex as young as 13, and how come your boy friend in the video did not get in any trouble, it says a lot about Africa, the whole continent is anti-women and is full of misogynist.
I was hoping for a demonstration from young women after what you went through, but again its Africa people are always too scared to do anything no wonder Africans make better slaves. You are not the first one to become a celebrity from a sex video, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian etc, What Zambians should learn from this is that sex sells, when it comes to entertainment pretty women make money than the not so pretty, if I were you I would ride the wave to the fullest, you should make another one, lol.”
Iris came to limelight and hit headlines both locally and abroad after she featured in Zambia’s top selling porno video leaked to the public. The video which Iris was filmed bonking a young man identified as Nathan was taken from her College, ZICAS situated in Lusaka.
Iris was taken to court and later convicted but was given a suspended sentence. She was expelled from the college and has since relocated to Singapore.
