ZONE FAM MEMBER DOPE G FINALLY BREAKS SILENCE ON THE DEPARTURE OF THUGGA FROM ZONEFAM

dope g,rapper from award winning group zone fam has something to say on his instagram

It has been a tough period for the team, so much so that I personally failed to make a statement any earlier than today about this. Social media did its best to rub it in and i guess that helped in accepting that this is the new reality. Despite having known for months, finally announcing@IamThugga's departure really opened up a floodgate of emotions that we had managed to start blocking away. Having travelled this journey with him as a key member of the team for so long, the void left by his departure shall be felt greatly and the only consolation we have is still having him as a brother and a friend. The other beautiful thing is that he has not been taken away from the fans either as you will still get to hear his music just with a different focal point. During this period of his transformation, he has brought such an array of light within the team and it gives us joy knowing that he shall share this with the world. I was gonna do a series of tweets talking about our experiences in the past with the hashtag#WhyThuggaNeededJesus but I will spare him.lol. I encourage everyone to hear him out and support him as he walks this new path. As for @ZoneFam , well, this has been a reminder that nothing lasts forever and even we shall one day bid farewell to you. Bitter as this may be, it puts us in a position to do every single thing like it were our last and put our hearts in it wholly to build a legacy worthy of being remembered by so we working. From this point Zone Fam can only go in 'one direction'.lol. I had to guys. Stay blessed.

French Montana Working With Kanye, Macklemore and Rick Ross His new album 'Mac & Cheese 4' is due this year

Although his 2013 debut LP Excuse My French is barely eight months old, French Montana is hard at work on his new album, Mac & Cheese 4. The New York City-based rapper promises that it will satiate the core, street-rap loyalists that have supported him since the early 2000s.
"I'm going back to the essence on this album," he tells Rolling Stone. "We're giving the fans that grew up on me what they want. When we made the other music, it was just to be a little different and not do the same thing over." The LP's title is derived from Montana’s series of mixtapes of the same name and thus, it was initially reported that Mac & Cheese 4 would be a free download — but he does plan to release this as his second proper album. He hopes to have the first single out in the next two months.
Montana has recently worked with a range of artists, from Miley Cyrus to will.i.am, and is tapping into his eclectic Rolodex for Mac & Cheese 4, including a track with Macklemore called "Nightmare." But the one person who he really wants is mostly unattainable. "The only person I wish I could work with right now is Max B," Montana says about his beloved, incarcerated mentor.
Elsewhere, French is collaborating with high-profile artists on their projects including Rick Ross's Mastermind and Kanye West's next album. "We're supposed to be working on a couple of songs together for his album," he says of working with West. "He got a special project coming out." It's unclear what project Kanye is working on but the rapper/producer has mentioned a new eight-song album previously, and was recently spotted in studio sessions with Tyga.French Montana

Danny to take break after 10th album

MUSICIAN Danny ‘Kaya’ has hinted on taking a break after releasing 10 albums as he prepares to release his ninth studio collection by August this year.
Danny Siulapwa who is regarded as one of the best music artists in Zambia told Times Entertainment that he plans to take a break from releasing albums on one or two years intervals after reaching the decade mark.
“I have been doing this thing (singing) for more than ten years now and after releasing my tenth album, I will take a break and just be releasing singles,” the dreadlocked live performer said in the comfort of his studio chair at Mad House studios located at the Lusaka Play House.
The Yakumbuyo star added, “It’s not that I will stop completely, I will just relax and take a back seat and concentrate on grooming new artistes and dropping singles but if need arises the album will surely come.”
Last week on Friday residents of Makeni, Chawama and the surrounding areas were treated to some rare live music in town when Danny performed at South Point Pub.
The More Fire Band had one of the simplest task to do when they took to the stage as the audience was already mesmerised by the sight of Danny, Naso, Titus and the band.
All that Danny had to do was to churn out the already known tracks.
The show that defied the odds of Zambian shows starting after midnight, started around 22:00 hours and with such hits as Yakumbuyo, Joni, As Long As, 90 minutes and Kaya, the night was worth it and so was the wee hours of Saturday.
Zambia might be experiencing bad days when it comes to live bands performances but the nation can be assured that Danny is one of the remaining greats that will surely live his mark wherever he performs. Times of ZambiaDanny ‘Kaya

It's not a competition! Chris Brown outshines Fabolous with his muscular chest as he makes shirtless guest appearance in Ready music video

His on-off girlfriend has been parading her slender figure online at every opportunity recently.
And Chris Brown appears to be equally as vain as Rihanna in a new music video.
The 23-year-old flaunts his bare muscular chest as he promotes his part in Fabolous’ latest track titled Ready.
Watch video below

The singer contributes his dulcet tones to the tune about a man changing his ways for the right girl.
Chris doesn’t hesitate about getting his top off and dons only a dark open sheer jacket in a scene where he sings to camera, flaunting his six-pack stomach and of course the many tattoos all over his front.
The star draws further attention to his sculpted form by draping his body in gold necklaces, for the track which comes from Fabolous’ album Loso Way 2: Rise To Power.

Meanwhile his collaborator conceals his upper body by fashioning a leather top and also is styled in chains like Chris.
Oddly enough, the 35-year-old lyricist – whose real name is John Jackson – rocks sunshades over his eyes despite filming in a very dark room.
The storyline of the short film sees the men on vacation in the Dominican Republic where a beautiful lady is the subject of their attention.

Canada Deports HIV Zimbabwe Musician

CANADA has ordered the deportation of an HIV positive Zimbabwean musician, Charles Kokanai Mzite, it has emerged.
Charles Mzite
Charles Mzite
Mzite’s life has been one of shifting fortunes, from international touring with an acclaimed African musical troupe, even performing for Oprah Winfrey, to fleeing political repression as a refugee to Canada; from the sanctuary of Vancouver’s vibrant artistic community to a B.C. prison.
And now it comes full circle, with Canada ordering Mzite deported back to Zimbabwe, denounced as a danger to the public of Canada for having sex without informing his female partners he had HIV.
In Zimbabwe, he joined an acclaimed drumming and dancing troupe famed for its colourful presentation of traditional African music. The group toured the world, performing on four continents.
Along with fame, it brought him love. In 1993, he married a daughter of the troupe’s patriarch.
During their marriage, as for many in his AIDS-ravaged country at the time, both partners contracted HIV. By 1995, he had tested positive; his wife died in 2000, likely of HIV/AIDS, he later said.
Meantime, his political comfort at home had also shifted. He had shunned the ruling party and refused to attend its events. His high profile in the country made the snub noticeable to those in power causing him and his family grief, he said.
He met a Canadian woman in Zimbabwe and she invited him to Canada. He arrived on a visitor’s visa in 2001 and was granted refugee protection in 2002. None of that required him to submit to an HIV test, as it now does.
Settling in Victoria, Mzite met up with other musicians who showed him how to busk on the streets. He joined a local marimba band called Jambanja and their energetic sound attracted attention beyond coin-tossing passersby.
In 2007, Mzite and the band were flown on a private jet to perform at a private island party for Ms. Winfrey — the TV celebrity even played along on a gourd rattle during part of the gig.
His warm smile, talent and energy made him attractive to women and he easily struck up intimate relationships. He remarried in Canada to a woman he met at the airport the day he arrived.
There were growing problems, however.
He had applied for permanent residence status in Canada, which required medical information. He declined to complete the medical portion of the immigration process and his application was denied.
Meanwhile, Mzite’s relationships were damaged by rumours in the community that he was HIV-positive. He assured at least four sex partners he did not have HIV, court later heard.
To at least one, he used as his most convincing evidence that he would never have been allowed into Canada if he had HIV.
“I truly believed him,” one of the women, who cannot be identified, testified in court in 2009.
When one of his former partners in Canada contracted HIV, she went to the police. In 2007, the same year he performed for Ms. Winfrey, he tearfully admitted to investigators that he had known since 1995 he was HIV-positive.
He had first found out when his Zimbabwean troupe were scheduled to tour China, which required visitors to pass an HIV test. He failed and stayed home.
“This is not about revenge or getting him put away. The only reason I’m here is that women and children just keep getting hurt,” that former partner told court at his trial.
He was found guilty of four counts of aggravated sexual assault in 2009 and sentenced to 10 years in prison, minus time already served. The sentencing judge chastised him for abusing the women’s trust, deceiving them and lacking empathy for them.
In 2011, the Parole Board of Canada refused his parole request. Last year, pending his parole, Citizenship and Immigration Canada determined Mzite to represent a danger to the public in Canada and ordered him deported upon his release.
Letters praising him as an asset to Canada because of his cultural talent supported Mzite’s request to stay and he appealed the deportation to the Federal Court of Canada.
In a new decision, the government’s decision has been upheld.
“The facts of this case speak for themselves. The applicant had a private relationship with four different women and despite being asked by each of them whether he had HIV, he answered negatively and proceeded to have sexual relations with each one of them,” Federal Court Justice Simon Noël wrote in his decision, released last week.
“I see no reasons in law or in fact to disagree with this finding.”
The decision contrasts sharply with another recent ruling by a Federal Court judge.
Last month, Justice Yves de Montigny overturned a deportation against a refugee from Honduras who is HIV-positive and admitted having protected gay sex with clients as a prostitute without disclosing his HIV status.
In that case, the court rejected Citizenship and Immigration’s declaration that Marvin Adolfo Galvez Padilla, 46, was a danger to the public, saying the government was out of step with current legal and medical knowledge.
If left standing, Judge de Montigny wrote, it “could have the perverse effect of facilitating the removal of petty criminals, drug addicts involved only peripherally in the drug trade, and individuals who are HIV positive. Such a result would clearly not be in keeping with Canada’s international obligations and must be censored.” National Post/ZimDiaspora.
