California College Student kills woman and 2 during carjacking, then himself as police close in

Four people died Tuesday morning in a 25-minute shooting spree that terrorized drivers and shut down stretches of freeway in Orange County, Calif.

Among those dead is the suspected gunman, who police say killed himself before officers could take him into custody.

At least two other people were reportedly wounded during the chaotic rampage, which involves at least three attempted carjackings and six crime scenes.

In less than an hour, a 20-year-old student shot and killed a woman in her home and two commuters during carjackings early Tuesday, shot up vehicles on a Southern California freeway and committed suicide as police closed in on him, authorities said.
