Lamborghini unveils $3.9 Million Supercar at Geneva Motor Show

Lamborghini found a way to create a splashy start of the Geneva Motor Show by unveiling a $3.9 million, 220 mile-per-hour supercar that have a short production run: three cars, all to be sold to consumers.

It's being called the Veneno and Lamborghini swears it will be street legal. (Even if the cops could keep up with it, we suspect that would be so taken with just seeing one they'd forget they want to pull it over.)

Veneno is meant to mark the 50th anniversary Automobili Lamborghini. It gets its basic architecture from Lambo's Aventador super sports car.

The two-seater Veneno is powered by a massive 6.5 litre 12 cylinder petrol engine developing 750 horse-power coupled with a fast-shifting 7-speed ISR transmission. There are five driving models and full-time all-wheel drive for extra road grippiness.

It is expected to accelerate from rest to 60mph in under 3 seconds.

The body is pretty much all carbon fiber.
