Sophie Chinkumbi Miss Southern Africa Zambia representing Zambia at the Top Model of the World being staged in El Gouna in Egypt by the Red sea
The models from around the world have been in camp since the 17th of March 2013 and the final competition is on 29th of march 2013 at 8pm.
Africa is being represented by Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Zambian beauty Sophie Chinkumbi Miss Southern Africa Zambia and friend Nadine Hahn Face of Zimbabwe are having a time of their lives as they enjoy the hospitality of the Red sea Resort Movenpick Resort and Spa.
‘Every year we send delegates to go and represent our countries and so far Zimbabwe has consistently placed at this prestigious competition. We are hoping one of these African girls to place highly and even scoop the ultimate prize if $10,000 and a year’s modelling contract, said Hildah Mulenga, Director of Miss Southern Africa Zambia.
Top Models
The Top Model of the World is an international search for the ultimate model. The sought-after characteristics are: independence, talent and fashion consciousness. The event started in 1993 in Miami, organised by the Globana Group, now it is owned by World Beauty Organization.
