T Boy Abandons Music To Be A Priest


Local Reggae and Dancehall artist Tanonga Chenda popularly known as T-Boy has said he will stop making music because he wants to be a priest.

Information reaching our blog is that the Lusaka based singer who has graced Zambian Music with a lot of hits using his unique voice has had enough of doing music and now hopes to join priesthood.
“My next album is ma last album the I can concentrate on other things will miss the stage greatly…I will continue doing singles from time to time..thanx for ya love n support” said T-Boy on his Facebook page.
And speaking in an Interview with Zibani Zambia this afternoon, T- Boy has confirmed that he will no longer produce any more albums because he wants to concentrate on other matters concerning his life.
The award winner said he will in June this year release his last album which has not yet been titled and adds that this will mark the end of T-Boy in as a solo artist but was quick to state that he will continue working behind the scenes as he runs his record label ‘Bizzybaila International’ to promote upcoming artists.
T-Boy released his first single after he completed his high school in 2003, and since that time has received massive support from across the country and internationally winning various awards along the way including song of the year for his ‘Mwati Uziba’ track.
