SON KILLS FATHER OVER PENSION

A retired Zambia Air Force Colonel has been shot dead by his son in Mumbwa District.

Lieutenant Colonel Paul Kamuchele was shot dead by his son Emmanuel after a dispute over the father’s pension.

Emmanuel shot his father twice in the head and had dragged the body in the bush.

Lt Col Kamuchele retired last year and got on the wrong side of his son over the sharing of the money.

After being interrogated Emmanuel admitted to committing the crime and led the police to where he had dumped the body.

The accused has since been charged with murder.

Emmanuel said he was forced to murder his father because he was cruel and that he wanted the family to enjoy the money without his father.
